This backpack's durability is only outperformed by its space and clever attachments you can get for this bushcraft backpack. Like with all Bushcraft Backpacks, the shoulder straps do get into the realm of discomfort at some point on your expedition. However, it took a lot longer than normal for someone like me with a large breadth across the shoulders. This is by far my favourite Bushcraft backpack of 2024.

From Adam - This is an extra large bushcraft backpack and it lives up to it - this bushcraft tool is not for the faint of heart. It has an amazing deep cavern to put just about everything but the kitchen sink. The main issue with that is that newer people to bushcraft will see this bushcraft backpack and likely pack a lot of unnecessary things, adding to unnecessary weight. However, the bag itself is high quality, well designed, and is very smartly compartmentalized. This is a great backpack for those who end up taking more than they think they should.

Product quality is amazing, but you don't want to keep it too close to your fire. The strap system is genius and allows you to strap the necessities to the outside of the backpack, like a bushcraft axe and other various bushcraft tools.

From Adam - A little smaller than I would have hoped, but you will find it hard to be disappointed buying a bushcraft backpack from the Ray Mears store. This product is aimed more at those who want to go out for a day or day and a half at most. I found the shoulder straps to bite on the shoulders relatively quick, but it is manageable. The space to put your bushcraft tools in here is great and there is also external compartmentalization too. Extra elements, but if comfort is your thing, you may want to look more towards Frost River products.
